DESCRIPTION
Parallel Peperomia, like its cousin Peperomia Argyreia, has incredible variegated green and white leaves that look like the patterns on a watermelon. The resemblance in looks stops there as Parallel Peperomia leaves are small and plentiful and attached to long firm red stems, giving it a lively, springy look with a tendency to trail. It’s a great plant to add life to a high space.
It’s also an easy plant to care for. Place it within a couple of metres of a window, avoiding direct sunlight and water thoroughly every 1-2 weeks when the soil is dry to keep the plant happy and lush. You can expect the plant will grow up to about 45cm in length.
Your Parallel Peperomia will appreciate humidity. If it’s placed in a dry air area (eg close to air conditioning), mist it at least once a day. Placing it in a tray filled will pebbles and water will also do the trick.
