We aim to have it look display ready! We basically select the best from our growers, and trim and beautify it before sending them out to you.

However, there are cases of transportation or environmental shock when placed in your space etc. This may show up as mild stress due to transport and environment change. This is normal and improves after acclimatisation.

Plants are supplied in a plastic grow pot/bag unless a decorative planter is added.

Both options work — it really depends on how you plan to care for your plant.

Keeping the plant in its nursery (grow) pot is perfectly fine. Many customers do this for convenience and flexibility. However, nursery soil is primarily optimised for growing and transport, and over time it may become compacted or depleted of nutrients.

Repotting gives your plant a fresh start. When you choose our repotting service, we repot your plant using DTE Organic Soil, which is formulated for better drainage, airflow, nutrient balance, and healthier root development in home environments—especially indoors.

While your plant can remain in its nursery pot initially, we generally recommend repotting within the first few weeks for:

• Improved long-term growth
  
• Better root health and stability
  
• Fresh nutrients suited for home conditions
  

In short: nursery pot is fine, repotting is better—especially if you’re looking to give your plant the best foundation to thrive.

Think of it this way — a plant without a planter is a bit like heading out in your underwear. Perfectly functional… but not quite how you’d want to present it 😉

At Tumbleweed, planters are a big deal. They completely transform the look of a plant. A simple plant in a nursery pot is practical, but a well-chosen planter is what turns it into a proper home feature.

That said, it still comes down to how you prefer to live with your plants.

If you want a fully styled, ready-to-display look, adding a planter (with repotting) is the way to go. We pair plants with proportion-matched planters and, if selected, repot them using our Tumbleweed DTE Organic Soil for a clean, finished setup.

If you prefer flexibility and easy maintenance, keeping the plant in its grow pot and placing it directly into a decorative planter is also perfectly fine—and something many of our customers (and team) do. This makes it easy to:

Yes, for our medium to low light houseplants, we have acclaimised them to our indoor environment! do place them as per our indicated guide.

For sun loving and outdoor plants, they are always recommended to be placed outdoor!
