DESCRIPTION
Calathea musaica has an incredible leaf structure that resembles tiny mosaics, hence the name. With its light green, gently arching, slightly shiny leaves patterned with the most intricate criss-cross, it’s not hard to see why the common name ‘Network’ came to be. The official name of this plant is Goeppertia kegeljanii.
This prayer plant can tolerate a greater range of lighting than some other Calatheas. It actually thrives under bright, indirect light. Water it thoroughly once the top inch of soil feels dry. Allow the pot to drain thoroughly every watering session.
High humidity is a must for this plant. You can use a humidifier to boost humidity at home or mist your Calathea at least once a day. Placing it in a tray filled will pebbles and water will also do the trick.
It requires fertilizer every one to two months while it’s actively growing. A liquid fertilizer like DTE: Organic Plant Food that contains a roughly equal balance of the major plant nutrients gives the best results.

Important to know: As plants are natural products, form, pattern and colour will vary.
