Why do indoor plants need a plant light?
Plants grow on light, and most rooms get far less than plants are made for, especially away from windows. Helio gives them the full-spectrum light they use to grow.

Your indoor plants need more light than your home gives them.
The further from the window, the less they get. A plant light fixes that, in any corner.
Add the light, then put plants where you want them.
“The lights are bright enough to make my plant grow and the spotlight height can be extended easily. The wires are well kept and the timer is an added bonus.”
“Very easy to assemble the whole unit in just a few minutes… The lights are striking bright.”
“Light is easy to assemble and looks great in the living room.”
“Great design and make the vibe look nice organised.”
“Easy to assemble, easy to set timer. Has different level of light intensity.”

Helio comes with one head. Add these with your Helio at the top of the page, or later.
Pick your plant. We will tell you where to place the light and how long to run it.
Wide beam: one head can cover a few pots.
Wide beam for a group, focused for one plant.
Focus the beam on the main leaves.
Keep it close and focused.
Distances come from our own measurements of one Helio head at full brightness.

Plants grow on light, and most rooms get far less than plants are made for, especially away from windows. Helio gives them the full-spectrum light they use to grow.
Light across the colours plants use: blue for strong leaves and roots, red for flowers and fruit. Helio’s 4000K neutral white still looks natural in your home.
About 9 to 12 hours a day for most indoor plants. Set the 3, 9 or 12-hour timer and it runs by itself.
About 20 W per head, so it costs little to run. The head gets warm at full brightness (50–65 °C is normal), so keep it uncovered and do not touch it while it is on.
Leafy tropicals, ferns, ZZ and snake plants, and sun lovers like succulents. The light guide above tells you how far to place it.
12 months from purchase, covering defects (not misuse). Email getintouch@tumbleweedplants.com and we will sort it.
In Singapore, delivery is free above $99 (after discounts) and you pick your date at checkout. We also ship plant lights to selected countries; the shipping fee is shown at checkout.
Indoor use only. The light includes some UV and infrared, so do not look straight into it or shine it on skin for long, and keep the adapter uncovered.
Yes, with the Helio Bluetooth module (add-on): set schedules, brightness and light duration in the app. It replaces the manual timer.
Yes. Helio comes with one head and takes up to three. Add extra heads at the top of the page or later.
Metal base plate, 2 connecting tubes, 1 light head, power adapter, wire with switch and a timer unit. Extra heads and the Bluetooth module come if you add them.
Fit tube 1 into the base, join tube 2, screw on the light head, then plug the tube wires together and clip the timer anywhere along the cable.
Use the manual switch and timer, or the Bluetooth module with the app for brightness, schedules and scenes. Use one or the other, never both at once.
Turn the lens one way to narrow the beam onto a statement plant, the other way to spread it across several pots.
Unplug before cleaning. Wipe with a soft dry cloth, no alcohol or harsh cleaners, and check the cable now and then.

Plants evolved to thrive outdoors under natural sunlight, which provides a full spectrum of light for photosynthesis. Most indoor environments—especially rooms with limited windows or low natural light—don’t offer the wavelengths and intensity that plants need to grow strong and healthy. Without sufficient light, plants may become weak, leggy, and fail to bloom.
How Our Light Helps: Our 20W 4000K Full-Spectrum Grow Light replicates natural sunlight with a balanced blend of blue and red wavelengths, supporting healthy growth at every stage. Whether you have low-light rooms or seasonal lighting limitations, our light ensures your plants get the quality light they need to thrive.
Full-spectrum light includes a range of wavelengths (colors) that simulate sunlight. Plants use specific wavelengths for different processes:
How Our Light Helps: The 20W 4000K light offers full-spectrum coverage, including peaks in the blue and red ranges to enhance photosynthesis, strengthen stems, and support blooms. This balanced spectrum mimics sunlight and covers all stages of plant growth, so your plants get the full “light diet” they need for optimal health.
PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) measures the light intensity your plants receive, specifically in the wavelengths they use for photosynthesis. Here’s a general guide:
How Our Light Helps: The 20W 4000K light delivers up to 1069 µmol/m²/s at 10 cm—intense enough for even high-light plants when placed close. For more light-sensitive plants, you can adjust the distance to reach the optimal PPFD. Our light’s versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of indoor plants, from low-light to high-light requirements.
Yes! Color temperature affects the overall tone of the light:
How Our Light Helps: The 4000K color temperature of our light is ideal for all-purpose indoor growing. It provides a natural daylight look that’s easy on the eyes and beneficial for plants, making it perfect for homes and offices. With this balanced temperature, your plants receive the benefits of both blue and red light without the harshness of a cool, clinical light.
Grow lights can be notorious for high energy consumption, but LED technology has changed that. LEDs are highly energy-efficient, converting most energy into light rather than heat, which is both cost-effective and safer for indoor plants.
How Our Light Helps: Our 20W light uses advanced LED technology that consumes minimal energy, so you can keep it on for long hours without affecting your power bill. The head does get warm at full brightness (50–65 °C is normal), so keep it uncovered. It will not overheat your plants. Aluminum heat sinks further dissipate any residual heat, allowing safe, close placement to your plants.
Different plants and growth stages have unique light needs:
How Our Light Helps: This light is designed for flexibility. The balanced spectrum and adjustable distance make it ideal for all growth stages, from early sprouting to mature blooming. Its 20W intensity and full-spectrum coverage mean you can use it as a single solution for an entire indoor garden, including ferns, flowering plants, and even light-loving succulents.
Plant lights are an investment, so durability matters. Poor-quality lights can fail quickly or lose intensity, leaving your plants without proper lighting.
How Our Light Helps: Our 20W 4000K Grow Light is crafted with premium materials, including aluminum heat sinks and long-lasting LEDs, designed to provide consistent light over time. Plus, it’s backed by a 1-year limited warranty, ensuring peace of mind as you invest in your plants’ health.

Press the on/off button once to power on.
Short press to cycle brightness levels (Low / Medium / High).
Long press (or use the app) to fine-tune brightness.
