Shopping for Plants Online

It's easy to shop with us:

1/ Start by selecting a Plant.

All plants are available in grow pot options, this are generic plastic pot options in the case if you would like to pair these houseplants along with your own option of planters, or with our planters

2/ In the same plant page, we offer a curated range of planters that you can mix and match, through our Mix & Match Pairing bundle. Add the relevant planters that are made to match your plants.

3/ Additional services: By standard, all plants purchase comes with a growpot. Should you like us to repot them into your preferred planter, simply add the repotting service charge, and we will have it arranged for repotting inhouse before sending them to you.

This is an optional service that we find most houseplant owners do not need, it gives flexibility, and ease of maintenance when we do not repot the plants directly in the decorative planters.

However if you would like it, we offer as a added service. In addition, if you need us to do a repotting at your site, these are considered Onsite Repotting, with difference onsite charges, where our plant team would schedule a time onsite to help with your repotting on your existing pots.

Yes of course. We offer recommendations based on the plant sizing, or planter sizing to match a suitable plant or planter. Feel free to mix and match from our full plant and planter ranges.

Generally speaking yes but as plants are organic and no two are identical, you should expect some difference in form and that’s OK.

We maintain a Plant Glossary that provides care instructions for all the plants we sell. Each plant comes with a QR code that links to the Plant Glossary so you can easily find the care instructions. If you need more help you can also contact us through email or livechat.

Unfortunately, we don’t accept returns or exchanges of plants unless they arrive damaged. If your plant arrives in a damaged condition, contact us within 24 hours with your order number and a photo of the damaged item and we’ll look into your query. On a reasonable basis, should the plant be unhealthy, we would definitely make it right.

Our Products

We source from all over the world, including Australia, Thailand, the UK, China, India, Malaysia, the US and other countries. Wherever there are people making interesting planters at scale.

Unfortunately our planters come as they are and we cannot add logos, holes, markings or otherwise process bespoke requests.

Yes you can buy either physical or electronic vouchers in the Gifts section of our store.

Yes, you can return any products that do not contain live plants, customised products, provided they are in an unused condition, within 3 days by taking them back to our warehouse, alternatively if you need us to pickup from your location, a pickup charge of 20SGD/10% of total returned value (whicher is higher) would apply.

You will need to present your order number.

Refunds would be made in-store credits that can be utilised in your next purchase.

Should your purchase be consumed, (e.g. planter used in repotting, soil consumed, and more, then they are deemed to be used and becomes not returnable)

If your product arrives damaged please contact us immediately with a photo and your order number and we will look into your query.

Delivery

We offer delivery 6 days a week, except for Sunday/public holidays. Choose your preferred delivery slot up to 21 days from your order date.

Depending on your ordered products, some plants might be on pre-order which would take a longer time for delivery. For products that are available, we deliver as fast as Next Day, to 7 business days.

Our delivery service is door-to-door. Our drivers will deliver your items to your door or other designated area. For security and safety reasons our drivers are not authorised to enter your home so if you're ordering heavy items, please ensure you have the means to bring them inside. Any form of entrance to your space, are based on goodwill by our friendly drivers.

The only time we place the products into your door, are when it's a Plant Styling project.

We offer SAME DAY DELIVERY, EXPRESS DELIVERYislandwide in Singapore. Reach out to our customer service should you need assistance on Express Services *additional charges applies

For online orders, we have a minimum order amount of $45, before any delivery fees are applied.

*Different minimum order amount may be applicable during promotional periods.

Delivery is FREE on orders of $99 and above. For orders below that amount, there is a $10 delivery fee. If you choose same day delivery then you’ll pay additional fees. For more on delivery have a look at our Delivery page.

When your order is dispatched you’ll get an email informing you it’s on the way. That means it should be delivered within the delivery window in the email, along with its tracking and live tracking link.

As a standard, we practice contactless delivery should there be no one at the door step, we will place your order nicely by your doorstep.

A re-delivery fee of $20 is applicable if no one is present to receive your order/not contactable for contactless delivery during the chosen delivery slot. It will be arranged at the next available slot/day

Inform us about any delivery instructions in the box provided on the cart page. If you forget, please email us at the earliest possible ahead of your scheduled delivery and we will try our best to fulfil your request.

If you want to request a change to an order pre-delivery, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll try to accommodate it. 

If you want to deliver items to more than one delivery address please make separate orders for the relevant items.

Prior to checkout at the cart page, you would be presented with multiple shipping options.

Our standard delivery, are the flexi-delivery, which is the most eco friendly delivery method where we ensure all deliveries are along our driver's route, to minimise our carbon footprint.

However, should there be specific dates you need the delivery to be, an additional delivery charges might apply, as we might need to utilise different drivers, or make special arrangements to your location.

Our drivers usually delivery them in a one-man team.

Should there be flight of stairs, that you need us to deliver, staircase charge would be applicable should your total order exceeds our minimum height. Charges varies based on weight. Options would be given to you at checkout.

Rate card:

1-2 Flight of Stairs: $25
3-4 Flight of Stairs: $50

You can reach us through live chat or by email 6 days a week. Live chat is the best way to get a quick response but we do aim to respond to all emails within 24 hours. Our customer service team handles all enquiries including about order fulfilment and delivery.

Returns

In line with our mission to make stylish indoor plants easy and accessible to all, we make every effort to delight you with the best products and service. We hope you love everything that you order but if something isn’t quite right, we are happy to help.

Please notify us within same day from receipt of your order if you wish to return or exchange any items. Please check the product descriptions for detailed information on dimensions and material, and contact us via live chat or email before you place your order for any clarifications, as our returns policy only applies to damaged/defective items. Our returns and exchange policy does not apply to plants, as these are non-returnable.

*Change of mind charges would apply once the order is fulfilled, pickup charges of $20 or 10% of total returned value, whichever is higher applies. This amount, will be refunded as a form of store credits, or via original payment method with an additional admin charge of 5% of total returned value.

Policy exclusions are applicable during promotional periods.

In its sole discretion, Tumbleweed Plants reserves the right to reject any return, exchange, refund deemed unfit or unreasonable.

All return and refund decisions by Tumbleweed Plants are final.

We do more than typical nurseries — each plant is trimmed, styled and QC-checked before delivery. Because plants are perishable, returns are limited to:
- Wrong item received
- Severely damaged / not viable on arrival
- Not within stated size range (beyond reasonable tolerance)

What to do: reach out to us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos/video of the issue.

Conditions: keep the plant in its original nursery pot, do not repot/trim. We’ll prioritise a replacement or store credit if the exact item is unavailable.

Not eligible: change of mind; minor cosmetic blemishes, slight leaning, a few transit leaf drops, soil shift; natural variation; issues arising after delivery (over/under-watering, heat/sun exposure, pets, etc.); custom potted sets; sale/clearance items.

Quick FAQ

Can I return a plant if I change my mind?

No. Due to perishability, plants are not returnable for change of mind.

What if my plant arrives damaged or it’s the wrong plant?

Email support@tumbleweedplants.com within 24 hours with photos/video and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement or store credit if the exact item is unavailable.

My plant looks a bit different from the photo—can I return it?

No. Natural variation in height/shape/leaf count is expected and not considered a defect unless it falls outside the stated size range.

I ordered the wrong pot size—can I exchange?

If unused and in original packaging, planters can be returned within 7 days. A $15 pickup can be arranged, or you may return in person (if applicable).

Are delivery fees refunded?

No. Delivery fees (completed or scheduled) aren’t refundable.

How long do refunds take?

After approval and processing, allow up to 14 working days. Timings depend on your bank/payment provider.

What evidence do you need for a plant claim?

Order number + clear photos/video of the plant and packaging within 24 hours of delivery.

Do discounts affect my refund?

Yes. Refunds apply to the final amount paid after discounts. Loyalty points/vouchers aren’t encashable.

Return window: within 3 days of delivery.

Condition: unused, in original packaging with all inserts/accessories and any free gifts.

Exclusions: Any items that are used. used/installed items (e.g., planters with soil wear or water marks), custom/engraved items, change-of-mind on used goods. Pots that have been used whenever they are opted for repotting on our store or not)

Fees, Method & Timing


Delivery fees are non-refundable. If a return pickup is needed, a pickup charge ($20 or 10% of total returned merchandise, whichever is higher) applies.

Refunds are issued as store credits or payment method (with additional 5% admin charges) for the amount actually paid (after discounts/vouchers).

Loyalty points / vouchers / gift cards: redeemed points or voucher values aren’t returnable as cash; balances are adjusted accordingly.

Once processed, refunds typically appear within up to 14 working days (payment gateway/bank dependent).

Tumbleweed Plants reserves the right to decline returns that don’t meet these conditions.

Fit & Access: Measure your space. For large plants/planters, check lift/doorway/stair dimensions and building access rules.


Light Match: Pick a plant that suits your natural light (low/medium/bright, direct vs. indirect).


Pot Compatibility: Ensure your planter’s internal diameter fits the nursery pot or the repot size you select (and whether you want drainage).


Care Level & Pets: Choose a plant you can maintain; check pet-friendly options if needed.


Delivery Details: Confirm recipient availability and any condo/office delivery requirements.


Natural Variations: Shape, branching, leaf count, and slight height range may vary; blooms/variegation are not guaranteed unless stated.

We can only process refunds for items in a new, unused condition. Please retain the original packaging.

Please contact us to let us know that you would like to make a return and our customer service team will confirm the next steps. 

Should any products are being used, e.g. soil, planters (via repotting services), etc, these products are considered consumed, and non refundable via a change of mind.

Once the return has been confirmed by our team, you can either:

(1) take the item to our warehouse within 3 days of your receipt of the item and provide your order number. Provided the item is in an unused condition, our in-store team will facilitate an exchange or refund in store credits,

or

(2) request us to collect the item from the original delivery address. Collection will be carried out as soon as reasonably practicable and a $20 collection fee/10% of total returned value (whichever is higher) will be deducted from the refund amount. Refunds will be processed as store credits within 72 hours after the item has been collected and inspected.

ALL refunds are in the form of a store credit. Should you like to have it refunded to the original payment method, pickup charge ($20/10% of refunded value) + additional 5% admin fee (total refunded amount) applies.

Delivery fees will not be refunded.

If your item arrives damaged or faulty please contact us immediately, stating your order number and providing photos of the damage or fault. Once we have looked into your query, we will be in touch with you regarding next steps.

You will not be charged for pick-up charges for damaged items. Please note that we won’t be able to process a refund or exchange if we are not notified about a damaged item within 24 hours of arrival, so please check your items on arrival.

Should you like to return, and require our pickup service, as a standard, our pickup charge of $20/10% of total returned value, applies.

However, should you like to place a separate order, and would like our driver to pick it up on the delivery on a reasonable basis, we would be happy to try to accommodate, please reach out to our customer service to do so.

All refunds made will be subject to our Returns Policy, and refunds would be given as a form of Store Credits which can be used on your next purchase with us.

For refunds into original payment method, additional charges of 5% applies on the total refunded amount.

Cancellation of Orders

Cancellation of order can be made prior to fulfillment of your order.

All cancellations would be refunded in the form of store credits which you may use in your next purchase with us.

In the case your order is fulfilled on our end, we would be unable to process a cancellation of order.

Should you like to have it refunded to your original payment method, a 5% admin fee would apply

Preorders

All preorders are placed in specially for you. No cancellation are allowed for these preorder purchases, unless our team have failed to deliver as per our commtited delivery timeline.

It’s free to join, you get points (we call them “Seeds”) for signing up and for other things like following us on Instagram. You also get seeds for every dollar you spend with us either online or in our physical stores.

Simply signup/login and you are automatically enrolled!

You need to log into the rewards program by clicking the little icon on our website named “MY REWARDS”. Once there you can see how many seeds you have and how to redeem them for discount coupons that you can use online or in our physical stores.
