Delivery Policy

At Tumbleweed Plants, we are dedicated to ensuring your plants and products reach you promptly and in excellent condition. Please review our delivery policies below to understand how we manage deliveries.

Delivery Areas

We deliver to most regions within Singapore. However, please note that we do not deliver to the following locations:

• Jurong Island
• Tuas Link
• Changi Airport and Airline Road
• Alps Avenue
• All PSA Ports
• All Restricted Areas and Military Camps
  
• Offshore Islands such as Pulau Ubin

Delivery Scheduling

Delivery Based on Postal Codes

To optimize our delivery routes and reduce our carbon footprint, deliveries are scheduled based on postal codes. Each area has designated delivery days, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries. You will be able to select your delivery date during checkout based on the available dates for your postal code.

Dates selected are subject to adjustments. You will receive an SMS when your order is picked up and ready for delivery.

Requesting Alternative Delivery Days

If you wish to have your order delivered on a different day outside of the scheduled dates for your postal code:

• Additional Charges Apply: An extra fee will be incurred for arranging delivery on an alternative day.
• How to Request: Simply add the add on charges that would be shown to you at cart, and all dates would be unlocked.

Delivery Schedule

Our deliveries are carried out Monday through Saturday, excluding public holidays. During checkout, you can select from the available delivery dates

• Weekdays: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Weekends: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Please ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery during your selected time slot. In the case no one is around, contactless delivery would be done with the instructions given from the buyer. Should you like to reschedule during our delivery hours, when our driver is present, a redelivery charge of $20 will apply.

We assume no responsibility for contactless delivery should it not be well received.

Delivery Fees

• Standard Delivery Fee: $15 for orders from $25 to under $99.
• Small Orders: $25.90 for orders under $25.
• Economy Shipping: Products that can be sent by parcel also have an economy shipping option at checkout, sent by Ninja Van ($5, or free on orders of $99 and above).
• Free Delivery: Enjoy free delivery for orders totaling $99 or more after any discounts are applied.

Door-to-Door Service

Our delivery service is door-to-door, meaning our drivers will deliver your items to your doorstep. To prevent any potential damage to your property, our drivers will not enter your home. The only exception is when you've engaged us for a plant styling project, in which case our team will enter your space to style and arrange the plants as agreed.

Staircase Charges

If our delivery personnel need to carry items up staircases due to the absence of elevator access or building restrictions, a staircase charge will apply:

• 25 kg to under 40 kg: $25 for 1 to 2 flights of stairs, $50 for 3 to 4 flights.
• 40 kg and above: $50 for 1 to 2 flights of stairs, $100 for 3 to 4 flights.
• The exact amount will be calculated at checkout based on your order details.

Same-Day and Express Delivery

Same-day and express delivery are not part of our free or standard delivery. They are arranged with on-demand drivers and charged by distance. Please contact us before placing your order to confirm availability and the fee:

Special Delivery Instructions

If you have specific delivery instructions (e.g., leave the package with a neighbor or at the concierge), please mention them in the "Order Notes" section during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.

Missed Deliveries

If no one is available to receive the delivery during the selected time slot:

• Our delivery team will attempt to contact you at the phone number provided.
• If re-delivery is required, a re-delivery fee of $20 will apply.
• Re-delivery will be scheduled based on the next available time slot.

Delivery Acceptance

Please inspect your items upon delivery:

• For Live Plants: Ensure they are in good condition. Minor variations are natural due to the living nature of plants.
• For Other Products: Check for any damages or discrepancies.

If there are any issues, please notify the delivery personnel or contact us within 24 hours.

Delivery During Adverse Conditions

In the event of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances that may affect delivery schedules:

• We will contact you to inform you of any delays.
• Deliveries will be rescheduled at the earliest possible date and time.
