In terms of care, provide bright, indirect light for the Alocasia Green Velvet, steering clear of direct sunlight, particularly during the peak afternoon hours. Ensure the soil remains consistently moist without becoming waterlogged; water when the top inch of the soil feels dry, and maintain good drainage to prevent root rot. This plant thrives in high humidity, so consider misting the leaves regularly or placing a water tray nearby. Maintain a warm environment, ideally between 18-26°C (65-80°F), and fertilize with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
