The Finger Lime Tree, also known as Citrus caviar, is a prized tropical citrus native to the rainforests of Australia. Its slender, elongated fruits burst open to reveal pearl-like citrus vesicles — tangy, refreshing, and often used by chefs as a garnish for fine dishes and cocktails.
Compact yet productive, this small tree grows beautifully in Singapore’s tropical climate and can even thrive in large pots or planters. When in bloom, it rewards you with clusters of fragrant white flowers followed by finger-shaped limes that range from green to reddish tones depending on maturity.
