DESCRIPTION
This Kalanchoe is a beautiful much-branched succulent shrub. It has spatulate leaves that fold upwards from the middle, each felted with fine, silver-coloured hairs. Because of the shape and colour of its leaves, this succulent is often known as ‘Silver Teaspoons’.
To grow well, the Kalanchoe needs strong light with light shade to prevent its leaves from getting burnt. Water it thoroughly every two to three weeks, allowing the soil to completely dry out between waterings. Native to the rocky dry soils in Southwestern Madagascar, this succulent is drought tolerant and prefers well-draining soil.
The colour of the Kalanchoe Silver Teaspoons may vary depending on how much light it is receiving from its location. In harsher light conditions, it may take on a darker bluish-grey colour. However, in softer light settings, it will take on a whitish tone with silvery colourations.
Important to know: As plants are natural products, form, pattern and colour will vary.
